Stevie Wonder made a surprising announcement of a last-minute U.S. tour that is set to hit ten cities throughout the month of October. Wonder’s tour is dubbed, “Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart,” which ties into his recently released single, “Can We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart,” the 25-time Grammy-winner’s first new music since 2020. Wonder’s pre-election tour will have the music legend hitting cities predominantly located in swing states, starting in Pittsburgh on October 8th before hitting up New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Greensboro, Atlanta, Detroit, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis, before finishing up in Grand Rapids on October 30.

The concerts will provide an opportunity for audiences to choose “joy over anger, kindness over recrimination, peace over war,” according to a press release. Tickets go on sale on Friday (September 20), and “as a special thank you,” Wonder and his team will be giving out some complimentary tickets “to those in our communities who are already working tirelessly to fix our nation’s broken heart.” (Consequence of Sound)
