John has been a part of the radio business for over 20 years. Ever since he was a teenager, living in New York City listening to all the big jocks like Pat St. John, Carol Miller, Mark Coppola and others, he has always had a passion for radio. John started his career in the radio industry in Landcaster/Palmdale, California playing country music on 103.1 KTIP High Desert Hot Country. He then moved on to KMIX 106.3 in Landcaster/Palmdale as Afternoon Personality and was then promoted to Afternoon Drive and Assistant Program Director at sister station 93.5 The Quake. He moved out north to Merced/Modesto where he became Production Director and Program Director for Magic 92.5 and Sports Talk 1660 The Ticket. He was then relocated by Mapleton Communications to Santa Maria as Operations Manager for Newstalk KUHL/KTME and also Mike-FM. Later, he moved on to Visalia where he was Program Director for 99.7 Classic Rock (KIOO) and Production Director for Buckley Communications. John went back to Landcaster/Palmdale once again to work for High Desert Broadcasting as Promotions Director for the Seven Station Cluster, and did Afternoon Drive on New Rock 100.1 The Edge. Now, John is here at Cumulus Media Oxnard/Ventura as Program Director and Afternoon Host on 106.3 Nash Icon and is also the Program Director for Sports Radio 1450 KVEN. He is a family man with his lovely wife Leah, three adult children Brianna, Justin, and T.J., and the three family dogs Toby, Nessie, and Bailey. John is excited to be here with Cumulus in Ventura and hopes to continue with the company for many years to come!
