Gold and platinum-selling singer/songwriter Michael McDonald is known for his work with the Doobie Brothers (“Takin’ It To The Streets”, “Minute By Minute” and the Grammy-winning “What A Fool Believes”) and Steely Dan, as well as several hits as a solo artist. His first solo album “If That’s What It Takes” was released in 1982 and featured the hit “I Keep Forgettin”. In 1985, Michael again won a Grammy for his duet with James Ingram on “Yah Mo B There”, and in 1986 he returned to #1 with Patti LaBelle with the duet “On My Own”.
