The IFC sketch comedy show Portlandia will have some big-name guest stars featured in its fourth season. Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, ex-Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan, Wilcosinger Jeff Tweedy and TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe are among the musicians set to appear in future episodes of the program.
A wide variety of other stars will be making guest appearances as well, including Dead Kennedys’ Jello Biafra, Michael Nesmith of The Monkees and actors Kirsten Dunst, Maya Rudolph, Olivia Wilde, andNick Swardson. Members of the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers will also be featured in the upcoming episodes.
Portlandia — created by Saturday Night Live's Fred Armisen and Wild Flag frontwoman Carrie Brownstein— is no stranger to having musicians on the show. Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, Jack White, Modest Mouse lead singer Isaac Brock, frontman Colin Meloy of The Decemberists, The Shins lead singer James Mercer and Dinosaur Jr. frontman J Mascis were all featured in episodes from previous seasons.
Portlandia's fourth season kicks off on February 27 at 10 p.m. ET.
