It won’t be long before you’ll be able to watch Avenged Sevenfold’s new animated series based on their latest album, Hail to the KingFrontman M. Shadows posted a note on the band’s Facebook page, revealing that all six episodes of the show will be available on Machinima's HappyHour channel on YouTubestarting December 15.

The Hail to the Kings series tells the story behind the band's longtime trademark, Deathbat, and serves as the introduction to the group’s upcoming video game, Hail to the King: Deathbat. In addition to some exciting gameplay, Hail to the King: Deathbat will include a number of hidden treasures and some new music.

“In the game you can unlock 16 pieces of never seen before artwork from all of our albums," writes Shadows. “We also recorded seven new songs. Now these aren't metal songs, they are theme songs for each level and are done in an old school video game fashion with a new school twist.  There will also be reimagined versions of older songs.”

While Hail to the King: Deathbat doesn’t yet have a firm release date, it is expected to surface early next year.
