John Fogerty to Play Two Complete CCR Albums at Tour Finale

John Fogerty is winding down his 2013 U.S. tour with a three-night stand at the Beacon Theatre in New York City that began Tuesday night.  The ex-Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman has a special treat for fans who come out to the trek's final show this Thursday: He'll be performing two CCR albumsBayou Country and Cosmo's Factory, in their entirety.

1969's Bayou Country and 1970's Cosmo's Factory were the second and fifth respective studio efforts that Creedence released.  Bayou Country featured such memorable tunes as "Proud Mary" and "Born on the Bayou," while Cosmo's Factory was jam-packed with such classics as "Travelin' Band," "Lookin' out My Back Door," "Run Through the Jungle," "Up Around the Bend" and "Who'll Stop the Rain."  Fogerty's been playing one of the two albums during each night of the tour, but Thursday will be the first time he's performed both.

During the trek, Fogerty has been promoting his latest studio album, Wrote a Song for Everyone, which features mostly updated versions of his classic CCR and solo tunes performed with an eclectic lineup of stars.  The shows have seen the rootsy rocker playing selections from throughout his long career, backed by an accomplished band that includes journeyman drummer Kenny Aronoff.

Meanwhile, fans can buy digital downloads of complete performances of most shows from Fogerty's trek at LiveDownloads.com.  Prices vary depending on the length of the concert and digital format selected.
